A tiny Romanian lost in the Netherlands, I am from a small city in the South-West of Romania. I came to study here to explore all the opportunities that life can offer.

Why did you become board?

Well, I joined because I was missing home and very shy, since I moved far away. The people in ESN offered me the home I thought I left behind in Romania. It turned moving to the Netherlands from my biggest nightmare into one of the best decisions that I made. I formed a lot of strong connections here trough ESN.

The reason why I became board is to offer that same home to the international students that want to have that as well, and for the people I have met to have a fulfilling student experiences.

What do you want to do in your term?

I was a very active member (came to every event with my friends and also was a mentor)My goal is to bring all international students from all kinds of association to our space. My term should not be all about the association at all times, I want our space to be all about the international students and their experiences.

Something that I want to achieve is to make ESN the social hub for everybody and make a space where both extraverts and introverts from all over the world get to share the fun parts of being students together.
